Coastal Carolina Fair
Well it’s that time of year again. There’s a slight chill in the air, the clocks will be changing back and fair is here. October 30th is the opening day of the Coastal Carolina Fair. This will be the 52nd annual edition of the fair. It began in 1957 and has been providing family fun and entertainment ever since. Aside from the usual rides and fair food the entertainment at the fair is top of the line. From the Three Dog Night which will be the entertainment on opening night to artists such as Phil Vassar, Jake Owen and Little Anthony and the Imperials. In addition to the music, food and rides, the The Exchange Club Fair of Charleston, Inc. and The Council of Garden Clubs of Greater Charleston will present two standard Flower Show. One being themed “A Day at the Circus”.
Other events will be a Halloween Strut and Costume Contest open to boys and girls ages from birth to eleven years old, a Star Search competition and Equestrian Events. For more information go to coastalcarolinafair.org
