Charleston Rated One of the Ten Great Places to Spend Christmas
Charleston was rated one of the Ten Great Places to Spend Christmas in Travel + Leisure. Highlighted in the magazine article was Drayton Hall and the spirituals sung there, the Wentworth Mansion and Peninsula Grill.
Forbes Traveler says King Street is in the “Ten Top Shopping Districts in USA.” CNN and Southern Living magazine have highlighted the Upper King Design District. Southern Living’s cover article “Ten Reasons to Visit Charleston Again” praised Bob Ellis and Half Moon Outfitters. It then went on to check out the home furnishings on Upper King. They even mentioned the Shrimp and Grits Martini at the Francis Marion Hotel. Shrimp and Grits Martini??? I’m going to have to try that one for sure.
