Success and the Real Estate Agent

In today’s market buyers and sellers need Real Estate agents more than ever. This market creates increased opportunity for those Real Estate agents who are committed and qualified to this business. The qualities that Buyers and Sellers are looking for is, a Real Estate company, an office and agents who have the tools such as, marketing, technology and training to provide the necessary information to meet their needs.What makes an agent successful?

In today’s market agents are being recruited heavily from many different companies, emails, postcards, letters, they all say the same thing we provide you with what you need to be successful, how do we know which one will meet our needs in developing our real estate career. When we are looking to change companies or join a company as a new agent, we have to look first at the consumer. Who do they see as the leader in the community? This is an important part of the process in making a decision. The consumers look to the agents who they feel can, if there a seller get their house sold, the buyer looks for an agent who is knowledgeable in all aspects of the business.

How can you determine who the consumer feels can get the job done? Only by looking at the statistics.

In 2007 our company sold 7,110 units. Our multiple listing service of the Charleston Board of Realtors recorded 12,382 units sold. Our closest competitor sold 1,857. In our office we wrote 786 units and closed 85% of them 668. Our office closed more than many companies achieve. The reason we were able to accomplish this is because our agents know the importance of top notch service, they are highly skilled individuals who embrace continuing education to further their career development. I appreciate having the opportunity to work with each and every one of them and congratulate them on their achievements.
